I added a syska smart bulb to home BSNL wifi. But I can't control it with google home or Amazon Alexa..Do I have to add the mac id of my smart bulb in router?

In the syska manual, it says

" If the router has enabled the wireless MAC address filter, try to remove the device from the router’s MAC filter list to ensure the device is not prohibited by the router to connect to the network"

Anybody know something about it?

Did you also configure your google home and Amazon alexa devices to operate the syska bulb?

On amazon you have to add some "skill" or something, right?

Usually MAC Address filter is off by default on most home routers. So most likely its something else thats causing the problem. Which modem/router do you have?

Yes. I have to add skill to Alexa. The same account linking happens in Google home as well.

I can control my light with Syska app. There is an app available from the manufacturer .. Syska.

But voice control with Google assistant and Alexa does not work.

Syska light can be controlled by syska app if my mobile is connected to same WIFI. But if my mobile is connected to internet with other connection, like mobile data, syska light is not detected by syska mobile app.

The problem is syska light connects to wifi. But not to internet. Maybe because IP address is not assigned to the syska light?

I got a replacement to the first syska light. But the same problem persists in the second one also.

No help from syska so far..

You said you already replaced it earlier that dint work . And this bulb used to work fine in act broadband but now i shifted to bsnl fiber and this problem exists with my orient smart fans and syska bulbs

Replaced twice..

The third product I got worked fine.

If you change the broadband, connection information stored in the device must be reconfigured. You have to reconfigure in smart device mobile apps as well as in Alexa. Then it'll work

No i tried everything for resseting the device , resseting my account
Try removing each device and add that device again with new connection credentials in the syska app. Do the initial setup procedure after removing the device from the app. Then after configuring the device, try 'discover new devices' in alexa.
