[WARNING] Hathway has 20GB/Day limit on some plans.

Hi guys,

Just wanted to share with you guys that hathway has 20GB per day limit on some plans. I'm making this post so that people will be aware of deceitful schemes by hathway, lies and false promises proliferated by their agent.

My previous broadband was excitel (which i have used for the past 6 months, smooth ride for the most part!) and i am a heavy bandwidth user. I saw the wall sticker and contacted the agent who assured me that there is No FUP.

and lo and behold..

20GB/Day - 50mbps / 5mbps
After that 2mbps/1mbps

the agent has since blocked my number. i complained to hathway about this and they said the same thing, FUP. they refuse to issue any refund so for now i'm stuck.

even though i have almost 4 months left, i will probable jump to another broadband.

Beware.

Contact nodal officer or higher if you were mislead.
If they still don't remove fup then ask for complete refund.

why hathway don't advertise their plans transparently on their website.

Because they provide different plans to different customers even in same building just so that they can get you to take their service.
After first month or whatever period you paid for they take it back by saying that offer has ended and you pay more like every active customer.
