How to set up a 3rd party router with the JioGigaHub?

I just got my JioFiber connection couple of days back. I was trying to use my Asus Router for the wireless network. I have disabled the wifi in the JioFiber router.

Couple of issues I am facing:
1. JioCall app on my phone shows 'offline' and it says that it is not in a JioFiber network. This may be because I have connected to the JioFiber network through my Asus Router.
2. Is there any way to make the devices connected to the Asus router "appear" as they are connected to the Jio Router device. (I have very limited networking knowledge.. 🙂)

Please share your thoughts.

No such issue appeared for me when i connected my Mi 3C router to Jio GigaHub for 2.4 GHz. I didn't do anything special. Maybe try disabling DHCP on your Asus router.

Oh okay. I was plugging it to the WAN port of Asus router. I will try it tomorrow with a fresh head. Thank you guys! 🙂

I connected the Asus Router(Lan port) and Jio Fiber router using LAN cable. Disabled the DHCP server on Asus. Changed the Asus LAN IP to +1 of JioFiber (192.168.29.2). I am able to connect to Internet from all the devices now..

But, the 2 issues still persist.
1) Unable to use JioCall from my mobile. (error: unable to initiate services. Please connect to a valid JioFiber connection).
2) In MyJio app, none of the listed devices under the ONT have the green wifi icon.

Is it the same for everyone or it's just me? Please share thoughts.

I have my Jio modem connected to a Netgear R7800. Did not change any settings. I've Wi-Fi working on both the routers (Netgear and Jio), and have set the Netgear band to a different one from Jio. No interference or any other issues.
The Jio app can capture my device details and shows which devices are connected to the Jio router correctly (green icon).

@alekhkhanna that's interesting. Can you please share which Jio Fiber device you are having? (The model number, Date of Manufacture, Date of Import, Firmware version). Thanks!
