Sify Broadband Service Charges!

i am very frustrated of being a user of sify. i got this connection three months ago. My CTO did not ask any service charge for first two months. And i was happy and felt proud of my CTO, when i heard that you paying $$$ to CTO as service charge. This month my fu*k'in CTO asked me Rs.50. i asked him why should i pay you?. nothing is mentioned about service charge in sifybroadband.com, licence aggrement and you did not tell about this. he said this money is being used for eletric bills and server maintenance and for cable cost. i asked him can't you take the money form the package itself. he said our neighbor CTO asking rs.100 we are just asking only 50.what can i tell him?is there solutions not to pay service charge to CTO?how much do you pay?
 
nothing at the moment but i am starting to see the signs. well, i will tell him that i will pay at the end of the month, provided network stays online 24x7 and he responds to call within 1 hr. otherwise he can kiss my @$$.and i am going for the nights only pack from this month. he can surely come midnight to collect his money.
 
wtf 😱 i've heard nothing about service charges!! my cto hasn't aedsk for any.. somebody please ask the cust care if we have to do this because, well i don't think it is mentioned anywhere in the terms!! p.s. i don't even pay him cable tv bills B)
 
oh ok, fully addicted said it is not mentioned.. well then i'm not paying him and i suggest you do the same!! also mine doesn't have power backup.. i'll ask him to give me power backup if he wants my $$ :angry: or he can kiss my ar*e
 
Why the hell do u think we paid non-refundable 3500 , its for lifetime service(your lifetime, not his)thats what i was told
 
Oh My god.....MyCTO asks me to pay Rs 200 pm .....but i pay Rs 150 pm......I didnt know that most guys are not paying the service charges...Are we supposed to pay or arent we??????
 


so what's the 3500 bucks for.. they say it is for mantainence charges.. if my cto asks for money then i will tell him to give me back my 3500 and then i will happily pay them.. :lol:

yeah it might be ashok or might be your local cto.. well tell them both to take a hike.. 😛 besides you tell them that you are supplying power to their network thingy or whatever it is and THEY are the ones who should be paying you service charges :lol: omg.. know what you do that.. just take a pic of your cto when you tell him that.. would really like to see his face.. rofl
 
Hi,May be this will help :-Service charge is charged for providing value-added services. ITs NOT to be charged on products provided by Sify Ltd.I DO NOT charge my customers any kinda charge as long as they are not using any of value-added services.Beside that, no1 can promise u 24x7 uptime with this kinda prices. If some1 is geek enuff i'll suggest go for a leaseline.Thanx!
 
Hi again!Talkin about Services Charges, Sify has again played with the Price Matrix.Instead of payin 615, u'll be payin 695 (i just hope u dont have to shell out another 50bux for CTO)And, instead of 815, u'll be shellin out 895.O yeah, therez another one, instead of 1100, pay 1200.Silver lining :- prices of 32k+, 48k+ & 64k+ packs for the duration of 6 months r same for the time beingBeside that, they r again goin to revise some of the packages, but no clue about what cud be the changes like.Thanx again!
 
if they cannot promse 24x7 connectivity, they oughta mention that on the prospectus. I saw that no where when I got the package.and if i am dependent upon the cto for reliability and not sify, they oughta mention that too. again, nothing is mentioned on the website.if we are supposed to pay the cto for maintaining the line, they oughta mention that somewhere. nothing on the website.a friend of mine pays 66% of his package amount towards service charges to the CTO. i pay nothing at the moment. why is there no standard rule? why does not sify interfare? cto's threaten the customer that they would disconnect the line if the money is not paid. why does not sify interfare?if you guys want us to understand your problems, be clear about them in the beginning. don't fool the customer into believing that they would be away from the tortures of dialup for ever.
