local isp also uses google dns except for their peering arrangement and stuff.

if you use application like SimpleDNScrypt it has an option to cache result so you won't notice any difference.

yeah I know about that and i already have a pihole running on my rpi3 for dns caching and adblock ....i tried setting up unbound on it but isp hijacks traffic to root dns servers so using unbound is point less and my isp does not use google as their dns, if they would have then things would be much faster they host their own crappy dns servers on

so they can route all our traffic thru the route they want also helps with all the piracy related stuff cable isps do i guess

no like for your pi hole you use google dns or some other open dns, your isp also does the same.

yeah thts where is tested and got the ips from ..
i cant use any dns except my isp dns as they forward all dns query to thier dns server and the forwarding bit takes 5-6ms time so i put my isp dns servers in pihole upstream dns so i dont get the additional delay hehe

I was but it adds addional 10ms to each query even when m using closest server so I stopped using it ....I'm waiting for JIO to launch maybe they won't use DNS hijacking
