Excitel Fiber Plans Announced!

I believe you are currently a user of Excitel. Restarting the router might allocate a new IP but again, it's going to be a NAT thing. The IP would be something like 10.XXX.XXX.XXX but does the public IP (the same IP simultaneously used by many Excitel users) change??????

I don't know about others, but while I upload my work data to my company site, certain session ID's are involved. These expire as soon as the public IP changes, and the data back up thing not only stops, it has to be done again. This is the reason I was asking about the lease duration of the PUBLIC IP provided by Excitel. And I can't use VPN for my data back-up. Even if I use a VPN, it has to be an IP from India.

Which VPN do you suggest for use with Excitel?

i haven't really checked. but once i was getting blocked on opensubtitles. restarting the router enabled me to access it. probably because i was issued a separate public ip.

I already have ONU installed, but on my.excitel.com it still asks me to join the "Fiber" lol.

In ₹ 2000 package, Excitel have written WiFi speed as 100 Mbps. Does that mean their router would give 100 Mbps even on 300 Mbps plan?

I have paid for ₹ 750 ONT. Which router do you suggest for getting WiFi speeds near 300 Mbps?
