Just got the 300mbps connection. all websites are opening btw (whatever govt blocked), and speeds are more than 300mbps both on wifi and LAN. Used it on PS4, Laptop and iPhone XS.

Though I had one issue with some VOIP provider which is still there lol, which tells me nothing has really changed except wire and speeds. service is still kinda same. I paid 1950. 750 refundable for modem (I didn't got wireless as my c9 archer has dual band).

Please speedtest NYC and London servers.
 
can you post pictures of ftth setup and do some speedtests and packet loss tests . packet loss test will be easier if you play online video games.

me and other excitel users have been facing speed issues where excitel to excitel speed is fine but excitel to other servers like jio servers or singapores singtel server or DigitalOcean server are giving very low speeds like 2Mbps or less.

so i want to see whether this issue is limited to us normal users or it exists for fiber users as well.

edit- i just tested singtel ( singapore server ) and got 1Mbps download and upload.

can you please test a variety of local as well as international server and post your results here.


also what is your location @webie ? if you dont mind sharing it. asking because i live in south delhi ( near saket ) and still do not have excitel fiber.
 
They told me fibre has started only 3 days ago. My LCO is AT Broadband. They said excitel has provided only demo account and all consumer accounts should go live within 3 days(Tuesday probs). For now they gave me userid of Demo account which tells me why the websites are opening fine.
 
This is with 5.0Ghz wifi. Not LAN. My Laptop doesn't have LAN lol. PS4 Speeds are around 350mbps with PS4 Servers.
 
It's a mess. Speeds are better but setup of hathway is way better than this one. They used the box thingy(which converts big black fiber to yellow fiber) soooo big. It's 3x the size of hathway and looks ugly.

The whole setup. TV, PS4, C9, GENEXIS ONT+ROUTER BUILT IN+RESONATE BACKUP (HIDDEN), Too many wires, all devices on LAN except laptop and phone.
 
they put the black box in your house? here these boxes are installed on polls 🥴

that black box is called a jc box. as sushubh said, these are generally installed outside, over polls. i dont know why they installed it in your house xD

so excitel has their own branding on ONTs? i thought they were getting their ONT's from Syrotech.
