Virgin Mobile: New service that never happened

Does it mean Virgin Mobile is no longer there ?
 
Whatever it is the brand name "VIRGIN" appeals more than anything😛..maybe all versions can use Vergin mobile as a status symbol
 
they are using tata indicom network from what i see. that makes them uncool. their mobile offerings are pretty sad too. but 10 paisa for every minute of incoming call is cool.
 
Stupid mobiles , and tata indicom . hehehethey should have used cooler handsets but then CDMA handsets are pretty lame
 
umm not really. cdma is just the mode used by the phone to communicate. Apple would at some point of time launch a cdma edition of the iPhone. that alone would not make it uncool.mobile companies generally avoid making cdma phones as they have to collaborate and pay royalties to qualcomm.
 
CDMA is a better technology , but no company bothers to make decent CDMA handsets specially in India
 
razr2 is available but its very expensive on reliance. i had like to see htc launch cdma phones 😛
 
The Razr 2 on CDMA is V9m. It runs on the old EZY-OS whereas the V8 which is GSM runs on the MOTOMAGX platform
