High Risk Vulnerabilities 0 Medium Risk Vulnerabilities 0 Low Risk Vulnerabilities 0cool. oh wait... I have Opera 😉

yea say waht...i am hooked on opera too....its a whole new experience compared to firefox.

it provides you a better package out of the box. and its now free. so die firefox fanboys die. 🙂

High Risk Vulnerabilities 0 Medium Risk Vulnerabilities 0 Low Risk Vulnerabilities 0Damn opera. Why I use opera instead of firefox:1. It's fully customisable. You wouldn't believe the kind of browser I have. Every smallest thing upto my liking. eg: tabs and toolbars are on the bottom instead of top. tabs and toolbars on bottom even on fullscreen mode. Only those menu items that I want and in the order I like. Many custom entries in the right click menu that I use all the time.2. It's faster than firefox.3. I hate extensions in firefox. you have to update them when you update firefox and sometimes they stop working in the new version.4. Opera is the genuine tabbed browser. Firefox sometimes opens new windows instead of tabs.5. IRC in opera is goddamn better than in firefox.6. The way I can search the history and bookmarks in opera is fab.7. Notes in opera can be organised and searched much better than the notes in firefox.8. Notes in opera remember the url from where the text is copied so they serve as temp bookmarks also.9. I have put many commonly used text in notes and can insert them in a text box on a site with a right click which is impossible in firefox.10. I have many custom css files to change the appearence of a webpage to the requirement of the moment.11. I don't think there's a fast forward button in firefox.12. cookie control is much better in opera.13. I can search from the address bar instead of a search bar (which saves space).14. I can use all my custom searches on any text through right click.

[/quote]Yup, thats something to be mentioned!
Damn the fanboys who say a browser sucks cuz it doesnt have a search toolbar... Its far better to search directly from address bar using search engine keywords instead.

Just one comment from parthap? I was expecting a fight from firefox lovers. What say firefox users?

Errr.... I'm not exactly a firefox user fred... 🙂Quite irritated with ff and its fanboys, so don't even get me started on it...As for IE6 results above, congrats pawanrh! You successfully managed to install a 2 gigger OS, and downloaded another 267 MB update, then kept installing 4 and 5 MB patches every week, discounting the periodic slowdowns & crashes & re-formats..... To get to that statistic.Opera, on the other hand, is a one-time 3.x MB download - just keep running the same thing for ages and no hacker idiot can do the slightest mess, with you.....

This discussion is same as Windows Vs Linux so plz dont get started on it again. Its all user prefrences. some give more wiegthage to easy of use and some give more to security.🙂

The updates are not only for internet explorer! its Windows Update! Everyone uses internet explorer components which also do need updates, whether you use internet explorer or not! Opera aint gonna save you from a Hacker when you are using Internet Explorer components and they are old n vulnerable! Keeping your computer updated is a lot sensible and doesn't cost much until u are on your broadband! I don think I'm so lazy! 4-5mb is a less than a 4 min download! that too once a week! Rethink it!
Having said all that i don say Opera aint Good! But everything should be given the level of importance it deserves! Finally you run Opera on Windows! Which is what i update!
