i was going to create a poll but there are so many p2p apps out there that i didn't please mention in your post.. my opinion: - kazaa lite works wonderfully for me but the files are generally messed up and it is full of trash..the best aplication for finding files on the internet according to me is BitTorrent, it allready has more users than kazaa, and the best thing of all?? the files are allready verified so there is a very low probablity that the file you have dowloaded doesn't work.. and the speed is great toothe only downside is that many people do not know how to use the client and besides the client itself is very basic.anyway if anybody wants help in setting up bittorrent then pls say so and i will put it up in the procedures section..

AzureusI don't mind letting data being uploaded from my PC. It is something necessary to keep torrent network survive. If only my net worked fine during the day.

i suggest you to use eMule(eDonkey network). This one is absolutely free not like kazaa. You have to buy the promium edition.better speeds. Get connected faster.
all peers are free. In kazaa you have pay if you want to download gold pee

check your firewall settings.. some firewalls don't allow you to use p2p applications.. also check to see if you have the latest version of the kazaa lite client

I have tried Another Bit torrent Client and Azureus among other BT client but I'm never able to download the file. I shows errors like unable to connect to peer etc. I'm using XP Pro SP2 with Windows Firewall disabled. Can Sushubh or Bhinder tell me wat ports have u configured ur client.

well if you are on sify which you are... i cannot really say what is wrong. in my last days on sify, my torrents did not work. they are working great on airtel.
