I have some additional questions if you could answer.

1. What is the speed / bandwidth of the base line wire they are using that is: Black / Purple Color Wire?

2. If they are going to give 100 Mbps Connection to each home, which means if an area has around 1000 Household (turns into customer).

1000 x 100 = 100 Gpbs line or 10 x 10 Gbps line?

How are they going to do it?

Because the problem I am facing is that... As the connections are being sold in my area in a good pace.

The speed of my connection is dropping regularly.

First week: 100-90 Mbps
Second Week: 90-70 Mbps
Third Week/Fourth Week: It is going as low as 55-65 Mbps too.

I mean in coming days I won't even see 50 Mbps if this continues.

P.S.: It is happening when 100 Mbps is the only speed plan is given. What happens when a rich guy in our area takes 1Gbps? 😕 Are we going to get 5Mbps only?

Also given the poor FUP they have, I myself will be foreced to take 1299 Plan which is 250 Mbps but, what's the point of it? I am not even getting 100 Mbps. How I will get 250 Mbps?

I think yours is a local issue. I have been using it for 4 months now and there is no speed drop. Maybe complain to the customer care?

When I got my connection in Jan this year, on 5ghz & lan connection I got 98-100 Mbps. Now I get 95- 98Mbps, usually 95 only. On 2.4ghz WiFi i used to get 75-78Mbps now I get 50-60Mbps. Usually 50 only. Complaining is of no use as they only fob u of with pathetic excuses or just pure arrogance.

^ That's the reason, I am not wasting my time complaining them.

Thanks for sharing the results @socrates but could you tell me if those results were SINGLE mode or MULTI?

Also, this thread is strictly about LAN.

Please share the results of LAN only. Not concerned about WiFi at all.

Fiber wires can handle terabytes of data. If your street has all gbps plans too it can handle.
May be they are regulating speed or connection problem.
Once frees are over, we will get good speeds and maintenance.

Use fast.com and test speed. in speed test with airtel, act, Vodafone getting low speed
check wires and reset the modem.

if you are getting speed low in fast.com also contact jio executive
