Does 2.4 Ghz give less speeds than 5 GHz in Jio Gigafiber?

the 5GHz band is giving full speed upto 95 Mbps but when I connect to 2.4GHz band the speed drops dramatically to around 50 Mbps.

Is it normal or do I have to contact jio?

^ 2.4Ghz can only support maximum of 70mbps . 5ghz can support more speed but it has less range than 2.4

I might be getting a Gigafiber connection soon, so wanted to confirm some things beforehand. Do I need a Jio SIM to apply for the connection? And are the additional data coupons given via the My Jio app? Thanks in advance

@Andy890 No you don't need a jio sim.

Yes, it is given via MyJio app or you will get a link for it via email/SMS when you are about to exhaust existing data limit.

So, I have some issues with Jio landline.

1. When I call my Jio landline number from any other phone, it says the number is not in service.

2. When I made a call to BSNL mobile number from Jio landline the call did not get connected.

3. The only time I didn't face any issue was when I called from Jio Landline to a Vodafone number.

Is anyone else facing these issues?

@Shubham When a call is made across different networks, the other network has to accept the call and provide termination facility, which it may provide on receipt of termination charges only. Jio must be ready to pay the interconnection/ termination charges during testing period when it does not get any money from users. During the trial period of Jio Volte calls also, other service providers were not terminating the calls for the same reason.

Jio to Jio (VOIP and VOLTE) calls however, may be through right now.

as much as I know termination charges for landline services are already 0 paisa/sec for a long time(thats how bsnl can offer unlimited calls to any network)

Call and register a complaint to Jio gigafiber customer care 1800 896 9999 from registered mobile number and also tell them to share this as a feedback to their technical team.

Also write a complaint to their official email " jiogigafibercare@jio.com " and explain all issues in detail.

I also did this same. These complaints/feedback from customers will help Jio to improve the quality of landline service in upcoming days and these issues will be rectified as soon as possible.
