DataOne gets disconnected EXACTLY every half hour

Hi guys,
I have been using BSNL since 2 years... i have been using it 24 hours.. recently (1 month back) my internet connection gets disconnected at 2 am... i have to switch off the modem and turn it on, then i get the connection. Now Past 20 days i get disconnected every half an hour... my computer shows its connected... i have to turn off and turn on the modem and it works... and half an hour later it disconnects again...and it continues till now.BSNL people dont have any idea... Should i change my modem(THATS WHAT I M GOING TO DO today) or change my plan to 1350 unlimited.are these people doing it on purpose.... when i lodged a complaint... i get disconnected every 1 hour... but now again back to half an hour disconnections exactly 9,9:30,10,10:30...and so on.
Anybody has the solution.....

Check Mod selected is GDMT.Check all connections for corrosion/rusting/blackening/Advisable to change the Rj11 telephone cables.what is the speed you get ?If you have changed the modem mention make and give feedback.

Presume you are on "always on" mode. Idle time '0' see in WAN page where you have entered your user id and password. Check Mod selected is GDMT.
Check all connections for corrosion/rusting/blackening/
Advisable to change the Rj11 telephone cables.
what is the speed you get ?
If you have changed the modem mention make and give feedback.

*My modem model is Wa3002-g1 (Type 2 modem) provided by BSNL.
*My connection is set always "on". WHERE CAN I FIND "MOD SELECTED IS GDMT"
*If there is Faulty wiring why would it disconnect Every half an hour?
*Rj11 telephone cables? what is that... the telephone people checked my external lines and said it is clear.
*The telephone guy is coming today to change the modem... i ll let u know what happens...
So if there is any other change please let me know...

i am also using bsnl brodband. i have never encountered such problem till date.
 
@ullas 1.post your modem details. 2.Check adsl settings page and check snr/attn/line speed mod selected. . Post screen shot. 3.Are you using a scheduler for downloads ? 4.Await report/feedback. from @/member/vpsundaravel/ as he is changing the modem today. Rest of the set up reported perfect. 5. Your IP also changes every half hour ?@member/vpsundaravel. Please give feedback.
 


😗i think my half an hour disconnections fixed.... the bsnl guy replaced my modem with a new one.... utstarcom(wa3002-g4).. he said its the latest ... its working fine for 2 hours... and no disconnections till now
i think the cause may be defective adapter...

modem replaced.... wa3002g4. connection working for continous 2 hours... ip settings set to automatic.
got the new modem on rental basis... cos any problems i could replace it.
the main problem is due to a defective adapter which causes problems in the modem...
change the modem... and set Ip to automatic....:yahoo:
