BSNL FTTH Has even better latency than this to the same international servers

Does the ₹2500 router has any heating issues when we are using it for longer hours ?

By the way I am new member here . I really like this forum as for years I just kept browsing this forum without registering , today only registered an account 😉

Better latency.
@undercover Can you please share some general details of your new dual band Rs4500 JCO300 black colour Jio GigaFiber WiFi Router. It will take just few minutes. It is very important for me and I will be very thankful to you.

Q1. What is your device Hardware version and Firmware version?
To check this, you have to visit on Jio GigaFiber login page by typing 192.168.29.1 on browser url of mobile or PC (only work when device is connected with Jio GigaFiber) and then put default User Name is admin (small "a") and password is "Jiocentrum" (capital "J") then go to Status» Device Status» System Information.
(provide me full detailed number of hardware and firmware).

Q2. What is current Firmware Date? To check this go to Administration» Maintenance» Firmware Upgrade.

Q3. What difference in terms of wifi range and speed performance you have noticed in it compared to your old white colour Jio gigafiber dual band WiFi router?

I have white Jio GigaFiber and I just want to verify that what is the difference between white and black colour Jio GigaFiber routers because both are Rs4500?

What documents do i need for jio fiber connection.
Do i need to pay modem cost during home fiber installation or before?

@raman07 Aadhar card/Voter ID/Passport any one of these

You have to pay before installation. A service ID will be generated as soon as your payment is received and it will be sent to your email and phone number.

2.4 Ghz Vs 5 Ghz on BSNL FTTH 1277 plan

On perfect condition(no electromagnetic interference, high end phone, high end router, using 40MHz bandwidth) the 2.4 GHz band can provide those speeds ..Though it will happen once or twice...

There are ONT priced just 1300rs with 1gbps port. So having 1gbps port in 2500rs ONT is not a big deal.

Here is another guy getting up to 300mbps in 2500rs ONT.
He has also told how to upgrade your speed to 1gbps in same video.

Here in this video you can see his 2500rs ONT.
