Reliance Jio Fiber Routers and ONTs

Promising something verbally does not mean shit. Did you see anything in writing anywhere? Like on an email or SMS confirming 3 months free?

I don't think it applies to to the Preview users. Most of people replying back here are past the preview offer. @vishalrao Yes the first recharge (Preview Offer) specifically mentions the validity which falls exactly 90 days from the time the first recharge is done. See below the first recharge that i did on 8th Apr.

Changed for me too.
 
I'm sure they have some terms and conditions written somewhere that says something like "we reserve the right to modify your benefits at any time" so they are covered. But I hope they do at least maintain the 3 months free duration for those who only recently got the connection during preview time.
 

My view:
All those in preview offer before 5th Sept will be moved to welcome offer. All those who join on or after 5th Sept and during the welcome offer period will be directly put in welcome offer.
If the welcome offer contains a free period, all those old and new in the welcome offer will be entitled to the freebies. To join the welcome offer, one may have to subscribe to one of the plans that would be announced on or before 5th Sept.

In this case, I got my connection activated on July 11 I am not even getting 2 months of preview offer.
 
Hi guys, can any of you guide me regarding sharing connected storage over Jio's WiFi? In the modem settings, the HDD is seen but sharing is turned off, and there's no way to turn it on. I have tried activating FTP server, but the FTP connection doesn't stay for long. Any of you able to share HDD content over the wireless network?

That actually looks pretty cool.....for a set-top box. But will Jio announce any IPTV plans on the 5th? That remains to be seen.
