Hi guys,

I am from Thane and recently someone dropped a pamphlet at my door of this broadband company named oceans infoline private limited. they have insanely aggressive pricing but I have never came across this broadband company. their office is located at Thane Khopat area. I am listing their plans and it's corresponding prices. Important to note the backend ISP is Honesty net solutions and I am currently using 1&1 broadband which also uses the same ISP at backend.

These are the offered plans.

Oceans infoline Broadband plans - this is the pamphlet.

10 Mbps365 days2500 + 18% GST.
20Mbps365 days2800 + 18% GST.
30Mbps365 days4500 + 18% GST.
40Mbps365 days4800 + 18% GST.
50Mbps365 days5200 + 18% GST.
100Mbps365 days5600 + 18% GST.

If someone is using this broadband already in thane area please let me know how are the speeds and should I buy it or not as I am quite confused.

@Hitesh.. Its still dirt cheap.. Btw are they giving unlimited plans like other prvt operators? Without any cap?
 
@Ameen I know it's dirt cheap and that's why i am suspicious about it! Yes they have said unlimited with no cap! i am using the same backend ISP only the vendor is different but their plans are totally different.
 
@Hitesh_1972 well give it a try even if you don't get anyone saying about it.. Check if you could upgrade the plan on the go.. Like after taking 20mbps if you could pay up the extra amount and go for a higher plan. That way you could test the ping and stuff and check if it's the truth without any other catch in it.
I Would try it in a heartbeat.. With those mouthwatering plans, if I had it 😂
And yes check their installation charges 🙄 something seems fishy.. Lets find it out 👍☑️
 
@Ameen hahah😆! seems like that's the only option left. I am going to try it out for 3 months and will post a review about it! My current annual subscription is due to expire this month. I will get the 50 Mbps plan for 3months and check the speed,up-time and downtime and also how well are their services.
True that! even I am intrigued because of their aggressive pricing, I have never came across such prices and also such speeds.
Installing charges are normal, same as other vendors!
 
So finally I bought their yearly package, 50Mbps unlimited plan, and after almost a month of usage here is my review.

  1. Its an FTTH connection but you have to pay extra Rs. 2500 for installation, though still overall it's cheap and haven't seen other local broadband companies providing fiber connection in Thane.
  2. I haven't experienced any down time or any major fluctuations in speed.
  3. Service from these guys was excellent, initially i was doubtful as i never heard about this broadband company but they were able to meet my expectations.

Are you still using it? how is it treating you? Any good ISP providers you know for Vasant Vihar Area (except Threesa)
