WiFi signal range

Hi guys, I have a Airtel V-Fibre connection delivered through a Binatone DT920W wifi router. Airtel has suggested that I use an extender but I would prefer using just the one router. I don't get a strong signal in some rooms. Should I buy a new router and if so, which one do you recommend?
 
Place your modem at the center of the house and watch the miracle happen.
 
connect a better wifi router to bintaone. use binatone as modem only by switching off the wifi.
or use wifi extender.
 
Thanks for your reply. That could be plan B.

However am looking specifically for a modem+router that has a good range. Any suggestions?
