My HomeTown is in a very rural area but both jio and airtel have already placed fiber cables on both sides of the road. No idea when they'll start providing service there or if they'll ever but they atleast have it the only other fiber cable there was vsnl i think which was there for more than a decade i think

Probably waiting to acquire or lease fiber from BSNL. I expect BSNL would lease its fiber assets in a couple of years. We may have to wait another couple of years for private telcos to start utilizing BSNL assets for end users.

If you can go through DigitalOcean speedtests. They have servers in us, Singapore, London, blr.

Yeah try that please and post the results here. try brazil, argentina, try to conduct speedtest on countries which are very far away from our location, that will be good for evaluation.

@Crazyguy030601 to get a speed of over 100 from a country like Brazil which really far away is impressive. What it means is that we can really watch 1080p videos with connected to VPN to some country.
If you ever get into your laptop or PC just try installing "best proxy switcher" ADD on in firefox or chrome and set it to some far away country and try watching 1080P videos.
Anyway Airtel FTTH seems to be great.

Sure, I'll try that. And yes, Airtel broadband seems to be much more stable than BSNL FTTH. I literally am not facing any load times on YouTube. I only wish the connection remains stable like this.
