Airtel is really desperate

there are no antics. someone probably linked to that page and it got picked by google spiders.

and to be honest... i am pretty happy with airtel. as backup. my excitel is down. would probably remain down for the next two days. as the main guy responsible for managing my local network is on a sick leave. but i knew that airtel would be functional. and it was as soon as i enabled it on my load balancer. this is the kind of legendary stability airtel is usually known for. sure i am now stuck on a 4mbps adsl shitty connection for the next two days. with just around 80GB of data available. but that's what i am paying airtel for and that's what i have with them! and frankly i cannot wait for excitel to come back online lol. but airtel does what they are supposed to do. provide backup when required.

and to be honest... it is just simple to bid for ad slots for keywords related to your opposition. not sure how it is still legal but it seems to be.

whoa. just tried a couple of searches... not sure if it is just me... but there is no serious bidding going on for broadband related keywords. searches for jio broadband did not show any ads. searches for airtel broadband showed airtel's own ads.

It's not the mistake/deed of Airtel here. It's the broken php code or something or it is done intentionally so that anything added after the slash would still not throw the 404.

Yes, It's quite a good SEO tactics when you want the user to see something instead of 404.

Maybe you are right. One thing I have noticed in ISPs is that it all comes down to the local LCO/Incharge. If She/He is good at their job and are responsive to the problems it improves the customer experience. Sometimes because of one and only one bad rep. the whole area experiences problems and the blame goes on the company.

who knows that better than me lol. my excitel is down because the main guy is on sick leave. overworked, underpaid... i completely understand his problem. guy was so apologetic on the phone. i mean who would pick up customer calls when they are on leave! he does and actually explains his situation and even told me that he would try to get it fixed by calling the other chaps in the morning but of course no guarantees till he comes back lol.

i would probably dump excitel the day he decides to leave excitel.

We can take the example of BSNL. The plans are really brilliant. They have the ability to reach every corner of the country. But their aging employees are the problem. Not all of them are bad few young recruits are good and give prompt responses and at the same time, there are worst people out there in BSNL. Technology is moving really fast. BSNL need to retrain their employees.

i thought bsnl messed up their plans? but yeah... my experience with bsnl was better than expected. i ended up leaving them eventually. the guy incharge of my area was an old guy who used to come on moped. he was almost retirement age. that kind of bothered me a lot. was quite happy when i found a replacement isp for them. but yeah... they are in a bad spot. tech is moving fast. their biggest competitor funds the prime minister. no money to keep spending on spectrum. no money to keep investing in infrastructure. while still providing services to every nook and corner of the country most of which have little potential for profit generation and so on.

I use airtel 4G as a backup too for my Home Server (I get really good SNR Levels since I am very near to the Base Station + 8th Floor line of Sight) because BSNL is very naughty at times. Airtel is very stable in Metro Cities. I am on BSNL 777 Plan. I feel 500GB is quite good. If there are any better plans on different ISP please do post them I too want to get rid of BSNL but forced to use it since society is not giving permission for any other ISPs

yup. their mobile network is sort of messed up at my place (inner rooms and of course basement of the house). cannot wait for vowifi to become a reality.

I don't know, but so far for me Airtel Support is best. Excitel being shit.

Both Airtel and Vodafone have started Rs.129 recharge for everyone... unlimited calls for 28days. Airtel is also offering 2Gb data.
