Cloudflare Warp+

@Sushubh I'm on Singapore servers since months. Initially it used to switch between Mumbai and Singapore but now it has stopped connecting to Mumbai.
 
I guess Indian datacenters are shit...

This release contains many improvements and fixes.
Notable updates
  • Fix compatibility issue with Kaspersky and other security software that would prevent running WARP even when those applications were disabled. NOTE it is still not possible to run WARP and other VPN software at the same time.
  • Significant network performance improvements
  • Fixed many issue with connection errors and retry logic
  • New Bypass WARP for local network connectivity checkbox added to Preferences→Advanced allowing you to decide if WARP should allow local traffic.
  • DoH Subdomain is now populated by default when registering your device with Cloudflare for Teams (NOTE you can still override this value).
  • Users with a space in their username now send logs when Share debug information is checked. Sorry to all those users we've asked to check that box when you already had it checked!
  • Improved handling of mdm.xml when changes are made after client is running
  • 5 Device limit is now enforced when sharing your license key
Known issues
  • You are unable to subscribe to WARP+ via the Desktop apps. You must subscribe first on your mobile device and then copy/paste your license key into the Accounts page on desktop
  • Localization parity with mobile is coming in a future update

They finally fixed the connectivity issues but still I just can't find a reason to keep using WARP. This is WARP (Cloudflare SIN) against BSNL (Cloudflare Chennai) on a 100mbps plan. CF's speed test doesn't give it time to speed up, it stops and starts to really find the burst speed.

CF speedtest is just checking various file sizes and averaging the speed. WARP is useful in cases where some sites can't be opened without a VPN. Getting connected to LHR now.

CF speedtest is highly inaccurate. Look at this without WARP. Am on 100 Mbps plan.

DNS over TLS is supposed to be the superior technology but somehow it is never stable for me on CloudFlare. Always have to switch back to DNS over HTTPS. Very annoying.
