Hello! I am looking to know, how can we do Port Forwarding in Hathway on a Docsis 3.0 Technology.

If you have successfully done port-forwarding with hathway, please let me know.

Thanks.

If you can give it a try? @Sumit3301

I just want to know if Hathway supports Port Forwarding or not.

I had the Technicolour modem and normal port forwarding was not working. However, if you give your computer a static ip and then put that ip in the router DMZ then all ports will be forwarded to that computer.

I do not have the modem to show you how to do this anymore but you should be able to find it on Google I think.

@crazydon How to do that? I mean do we need static ip for that?

@RedskyITM Did you have static ip?

I think Hathway is on DUAL NAT right?

I want to port-forward Plex.

I WANT TO PORT FORWARD ON EXTERNAL IP (Public IP)

@ajgamer For your use case, I would suggest ZeroTier and once you have that setup, you'd forget why you even need to port-forward.

@varkey Actually, Plex is an example I'm giving to make the question simple. I don't want to use Plex. I want to do something else.

So if Hathway can do the port-forwarding. It's awesome.
