@Nitin I replied to #86. He didn't know that bridged ONT is a simple media converter.

WAN session is established from the router not ONT in bridge mode. For WAN to work you need routing functionality, that's what his router is doing not the ONT. All ONT does in bridge mode is authenticate the GPON/EPON/GEPON connection via MAC binding etc and passes over WAN information/connection to the bounded LAN port.

@stringer.6 If you are getting NAT type 2 (moderate) that's the best you're going to get with your ISP.
You can't do anything unless you pay for static IP and open all the ports if you are isp offers that.
He is telling that he needs open nat on call of duty which is possible because i am getting open nat on it but for psn i am getting type 3

@Nitin
On the PS4 the NAT type is always 2 for me.
That's not the issue.

@stringer.6 You can get type 2 on psn but that doesn't mean that you will get moderate nat in games. I am getting type 3 on PS4 but on cod it's open NAT (because of UPnP).

Hello friends, 🙂
I have a Synology NAS DS 211J.
I am unable to access my NAS from the internet.
My connection is as follows,
My NAS is connected by Lan cable to a tenda F3 router which is connected to a Optilink ONT fibre device.

Can anyone suggest me some help ?

@stringer.6 , i believe ( might be wrong) that there is another dedicated thread for this issue. If so, perhaps you could link the post above to it...

Will help avoid parallel discussions and maybe help others too in future?🙂
