Beetel 777VR1 Firmware

Does anyone have the latest firmware file Beetel 777VR1? I called customer care and enquired about it. Their technical department called me the next day and told that the latest version is 36 (I have 21).

The problem is that they don't have any centralised source from where we can download their latest firmware for this router/modem. I luckily have the firmware file of version 21 that the technician emailed me while troubleshooting my internet.

Now I asked my local guy about the firmware but he's not sending it and making silly excuses.

Does anybody here arrange the latest firmware file of Beetel 777VR1?

@anon_airtel_user Call Customer Care, report for frequent disconnection. Airtel Engg. will visit, ask him to upgrade the firmware. They have the firmware.

Personal Advice: If you are not facing any sort of issues with the 21 Version Firmware, better to stick with it.

@ajgamer I repeatedly told the Airtel Engg. to upgrade the firmware but he denies even talking about it and always tells that firmware is managed remotely via CWMP. I got my friend's Beetel 777VR1 Modem (very old because he left airtel long time ago) and connected it to my DSL line. It had version 10 of the firmware and after connecting it to DSL it automatically downloaded the latest version of the firmware and installed it.

I've even asked Customer Care about it but they don't even have any idea about what "firmware" itself is. If someone can get ask your airtel engineer for the latest version of the firmware and share it here I'll be glad. Latest version seems to be 36 released on June 12, 2018.

Hi, Yes, He's saying somewhat truth to you. Firmware are managed by the CWMP only for the VDSL Connection nowadays.

But sometimes, engg. has to manually upgrade the firmware when the device is too old before their CWMP even worked properly.

If CWMP has downloaded the firmware, I think it should be the latest only. What's the purpose of new firmware?
