My First Bill

My first bill just came in and frankly i never expected it to be like this.

adsl_triband initial deposit for 11/07/05 Rs. 500
adsl_triband modem rent-DR 05/08/2005 Rs. 56
adsl_triband usage charges-D 05/08/05 Rs.0
adsl_triband email id charges 05/08/05 Rs.0
adsl_triband plan rent -DR 05/08/05 Rs. 413
educational cess 06/08/05 Rs.4.05

the initial deposit seems fine,modem rent fine BUT my triband usage charges=0
I had downloaded well higher than the 500Mb limit (around 800~850 not sure) Now how is that possible?
secondly My plan is Dsl:NU with a min. rent of 590 and ive been billed just 413

My only guess is that they have sent me a wrong bill,meant for someone with a 400Mb limit connection...

Or is it just that my actual first bill is yet to come..

Anyone facing a similar situation please tell me

IS THIS JUST THE LULL BEFORE THEY STORM OR AM I GETTING LUCKY :lol:
PS:can anyone tell me what does the words DR and D mean in my bill statement(the underlined words)
 
Cant say anything !!!!!I got my first bill which was proper590 +80 + 59 (10 % TAX)Even thou i downloaded 200-250 mb's extra i wasnt billed for themI havent received installation charges as of yet
 
My first bill is normal too..came just 2days ago..will post details in the morning 🙂About time they get their act together billing wise..service is a few months old now

They take rent on daily basis so if your net was connected after 1st of the month then they will not take whole rent, they will calculate daily rent and then multiply by the days used by you.

Well that explains part of the story.My connection did start somwhere around mid-July,I'll check.
 
someone else on this forum had a pleasant first bill... but then the next one was a bom (coolbuddy i guess)... but theyr improving the servers now.
 
yup... they say seein is beleivin... but i feel that since so many have had this prob.. all vud have told mtnl n theyd have been wrkin on their servers... i guess complaining shud be easier now!!
 
Mine second bill just cameIts normal -> 590 + 80 (even thou i had used 200-300 MB extra according to BWMeter)
 
Have taken Triband Combo (400MB downloads + 200 free calls per month).... Ok before you say how can I live on 400 MB ..................... GH zindabad!!!!Registered online changed the plan and got my bill for two months is 2105 inclusive of Registration and Deposit for CPE.I have not used any extra call unit or MB.Works for me.
