Google Duo is now Google Meet

This was supposed to be rolled out in August right ?
Btw , it says the web version has been rolled out already . Are you able to use it ?

I don't think data costs are high in India. But I'm only thinking about metropolitan cities.
 
data consumption is high. most people are on 1.4/2GB daily plans. and they spend a lot of time watching videos and stuff. so data saver helps none the less. though i do not think google meet is aimed at people stuck on mobile only connections.
