My router has the old firmware and I want to upgrade it. Has anybody been able to do it through their pc itself or do I have to take the router to the D-Link office or something?

If u do not do any masti with the router every daythen old is fine.but if ye wanna upgrade it go to the D-Link officecause i tried it at home n screwed it!!!!

Well, my router is actually working fine, I only want to upgrade it to see if it has any difference on the download speed.

Hey guys, my router is dead (only power light stays on)... So is it still possible to use the same router after upgrading firmware or do i have to get a totally new one?

No..just upgrade with the newer firmware..it will work..take it to your D-Link service centre and get it flashed
