Whatsapp images gets deleted automatically

yeah both are same folders and same files. I've deleted both and installed google photos.

Till now all images are showing properly.

Now I will restore just one whatsapp folder and reinstall whatsapp also place .nomediafile in .thumbs folder of whatsapp.
 
maybe place the nomedia file in all the folders that you do not want to be disturbed by google photos? 😛
 
I can view images in gallery but without images in whatsapp conversation, there will be no context.

Yeah I've placed in the nomediafile in the main whatsapp folder so nothing should get indexed now by google photos
 
on the other hand... telegram does not have offices in india so not answerable to indian laws government. now consider whatsapp with so much financial stake in a market like india.
 

google - google photos showing thumbnails in gallery

lot of people are complaining about this issue and some complains are from 2017 but still its not fixed
