lol...... this is no rocket science.... Amb's are known for manipulating terms in their favour by their political clout.

No body is putting gun on your head and forcing you to work for BSNL/ MTNL......when you knowingly work for an inefficient & corrupt organisation, you are in collusion and should be ready to face consequences.
You mean private companies that have green bottom lines are not corrupt. You are living in a dream bro

good idea to rent/lease out instead of selling their properties IMO once they sell it is gone forever!

Renting out their office space is not a new thing as far as I know.

I remember seeing Airtel’s office in BSNL’s district office way back in 2013.

bsnl is trending.

Just the feeling of uncertainty has gone. However, it has created a tsunami in the hardworking employees.

I expected some kind of forced retirement scheme, rather than voluntary. Those who enjoy taxpayers money without doing much work, will continue to do so until they retire.

hahahah ......

People here where where super-duper confident that gov would close mtn-bsnl and gov would indirectly sell it to JIO

Now what gov screwed plans of JIO

As i said any central gov has really small window to sell any gov psu.i,e first 6 months or first 100 days of its formation.

once election season starts no of political party has guts to sell this psu

unless and untill there is sever financial crisis i doubt any gov would sell this moth eaten pus

honest tax papers tax would be wasted

when world is moving to 5G.gov is allocating 4G to mtnl-bsnl

Just saw this msg 🙂

How does one go about cancelling their mtnl connection ? They have been charging me for years and i dont even use the broadband or the landline , just too lazy to get it disconnected.

In case of the BSNL FTTH at my house, my father had to submit two applications - one at our local exchange and one at the central one, after which the equipment was collected. They give a slip thingy which you might want to keep for getting back security deposit and stuff.
