I agree, personally I wasn't that affected cause I wasn't at home much during the week and the fall back to the Jio backup connection was enough for me whenever I was home.
But yeah, downtime sucks. Although I'm curious what went wrong with them this week, my ONT was always green so it wasn't a local fibre cut, looks like somewhere upstream. The clueless customer care people repeatedly kept saying fibre cut 🤷♂️

You mean on Speedtest? I haven't tried wired recently, but over wireless I get some 300 ish on Spectra server and some 200 ish on a non-spectra server I tried.

Last month I had a problem with internet speed the download speeds to a few servers were fine but upload to anything was limited under 50mbps except for the spectra servers.
after calling them for days and the technician visiting my home even he didn't understand what the problem was since after changing few IP's it started to work fine and on few both the upload and download were bad.
So after a week since my problem started and 10's of calls and support tickets problem was finally fixed. but since then there have been multiple 12 hours downtime
Now the same problem is back again and they say "Sir out promise is only for spectra servers for others we can't do anything even if you get 10mbps"
"You can pay additional 2500 per month to get static IP sir then you'll get gigabit speeds sir"
and here I'm going I'm already paying for gigabit speeds and you want me to pay more to get what I'm already paying for how in any world does it makes sense!

Story of almost all ISPs, ISPs in india don't give a shit, as long as you get good speed to your ISP's own speedtest.net server or peered youtube server. 😆
Yeah but the problem wouldn't be if they did that to everyone or from the beginning i would just say its an ISP with fake promises and basically a scam but this happens to a limited amount of customers on the same plan at the same location and plus it'd work fine half the month!
