Hello,

I have recently got a FTTH (1277) connection setup. I would like to know how do I setup bridge mode for my connection. The person who called me said that I simply need to plug the ethernet cable to eth3 or eth4 port to put it in bridge mode but it just gave me an unidentified network error with no internet access and no GPONT settings access.

The ONT which they provided me is :

Nokia Siemens H640V-G25E

Speedtest results :

DL Speed : 69.57 mbps
UL Speed : 90.36 mbps
Ping : 68

If you have no internet access, what test results are these? and what are you trying to achieve?

These test results are when I plug the ethernet cable into WAN1 and WAN2 port of the BSNL ONT but when plugging the ethernet in WAN3 or WAN4 ports (Bridge mode ports), the connection is not available.

It's not as straightforward as ADSL line. The configuration change should be done at the backend .The default mode is Pppoe. To switch to Bridge mode, you need to call the backend help line number of your city and request for bridge mode. Once your switch, to go back to Pppoe, you need to call them again. I suggest you not to change to bridge mode.
