Once I was in nearby Restaurant to collect parcel, there were 2 boys about 20s age. They checked prices in menu and compared in Swiggy or Foodpanda on mobile for same Restaurant. Price was lower in app, so they left and were discussing to order from app.
So if dishes are sold at lower price with discounts on apps, who accommodates the losses?
I dont know if all restaurants do this but they send less quanitity as compared to dine-in(restaurant) even though the prices are same as Dine-in or even higher than the Dine-in prices if I order through the apps(Zomato,Swiggy)
For me, it was the reverse. Expensive in app(zoma, swigg) than the hotel menu. I was also told by the hotel delivery guy to order from these apps, told him it's expensive.
