Excitel Fiber Announced!

^ Yeah, Your LCO seems to be awesome in this case. Good to know that you're on Fiber.

Did you notice Packet Loss on Excitel since the installation of Fiber (with your Fiber Plan)? @Lavender
 
I have fiber wiring but the fiber plans are not active on my connection as they haven't been activated on my lco end

EDIT
Forgot to upload the other side of brochure. Maybe that LCO will also be soon upgraded to Fiber as per the leaflet suggests releasing this week. It may be 1st March 2019 to rollout and present the same in this fashion. Hope my LCO too gets it done.

@MrStoner That's the good speed you're getting for the WiFi. In other words, Dual Band will be only helpful if you're going to be sitting near the router since it has very low range.

For Real Speeds, Check on Ethernet always.

My desk is 10 Feet away from my router, there is a wall in between

edit - i dont know how they are upgrading the lcos for excitel fiber.
as lavender said, only 1 out of the 3 lcos is upgraded for fiber in this area. this indicates that its not location based. if it were location based, all the lcos in his area wouldve been upgraded.

Not at all, I live near Tilak Nagar Area.

Yeah my fiber upgradation was done last week but the speed change took time, the 200mbps plan was converted yesterday only!

this has got to be the global launch of excitel fiber. i dont see why they would print custom flyers for a particular area

Are you seeing any Packet Loss issues with the Fiber too? Since, it's a common issue within the Excitel Infra.
 
@MrStoner If you can do this, run ping google.com -t (meanwhile working) and share that with us. A good time duration ping test would be awesome.
