Excitel Fiber Announced!

My LCO is charging me INR 2300 for installation (Excluding the Wi-Fi modem). Should I go for it right now or wait for the first reviews of the FTTH service to invest in it?

i think your lco is providing ftth on his own. like , it may not be excitel fiber because installation cost for excitel fiber is less. excitel is only taking charges for the onu and that is also refundable in case you return it.

That's not the official Fiber Charges.

They told me fibre has started only 3 days ago. My LCO is AT Broadband. They said excitel has provided only demo account and all consumer accounts should go live within 3 days(Tuesday probs). For now they gave me userid of Demo account which tells me why the websites are opening fine.

So the Excitel Fibre tab on the app is asking for Rs. 750 for ONU. After paying the amount, in how many days can I expect the upgradation?

I read on Mouthshut that one guy paid the money but it's been 2 months without upgradation.


Also, the Fibre plan charges mentioned in the thread title are after including GST or without?

Knowing Excitel... Everything would be exclusive of GST.

I paid for fiber in March and didn't get it. Ask your LCO first, I ended up wasting my money.

Don't u think it seems unfair to others. My LCO Janak Broadband, Rajgarh Colony, Delhi-31 is also doing a good job since 4 mbps plan days. I wonder why u guys didn't pick him yet and why we are still waiting for excitel fiber despite being the fact my area was one of the first areas where excitel launched operation in early days. As per him more lco came into picture now previously he was the one who dealt with excitel, that too in his own area. I guess this is the reason for delay in excitel fiber from company in my area coz number of connections are divided into more lcos working for same area and therefore none of them has desired number of connections which is needed for early roll out from company. Although my lco is already providing own fiber connections to new and old users.
