A devious nanny uses a family’s home security system against them in an attempt to retrieve her estranged daughter from the adoptive parents.
Following a break-in, Scott (Adam Huber) and Mara (Talya Carroll) decide to install a deluxe home security system with a voice-controlled intelligent personal assistant, Sam. They give the nanny, Rachel (Cinta Laura Kiehl), all passcodes for day-to-day duties in taking care of their kids, including their adopted daughter. With the passcodes, the devious nanny spies and torments the couple by controlling the smart home’s system from her
laptop. When the couple discovers that the nanny is spying on them, they immediately fire her and change the passcodes. Unbeknownst to the couple, Rachel’s boyfriend is the home security company contact and Rachel is the biological mother to their adopted daughter who will resort to murder to get her daughter back.
