Not sure if new. It seems that Amazon Pay might soon start appearing in retail stores?

this code is only for pickup point stores ?

also seems to be designed for use for cash on delivery. scan the qr code. pay using Amazon pay? third screenshot seems to mention it.
though i am not sure why anyone would use cash on delivery when they already have money in Amazon Pay?



you are seeing this on your app? coz i am using the non-play-store version and it tends to get features faster than google play edition.

and it seems to give indication that amazon might be partnering with retail stores so you might start seeing these smilecodes at your local restaurants or grocery stores. they do have a ppi license which might allow them to offer point of sale payments?
