Jio lacks quality.

My BSNL FTTH also takes 3-5 minutes so maybe depends on your ONT or local equipment?

Airtel FTTH takes around 2 minutes to get internet ready.

Airtel FTTH to get internet ready.

LAN 1 TO 1.30 MINT'S
WLAN 1.30 TO 2 MINT'S

TIME vary everytime restarting the device.

This is in Pune in an area called Hadapsar. Maybe it starts up fast because my device is a basic one without wifi or phone ports. Only 1 LAN port.

I have a PC connected via CAT 5 wire rest are all wireless devices

Too bad timing for FTTH Connections.

My experience so far with Jio Fiber as I mentioned in an above post, my connection went live on the 14th of this month but on 15th it was dead as a dodo. When the technician came he told me ‘too much power’ was the cause of the problem. Then on 22nd my connection was dead again this time I was told that there was a ‘PON Port mismatch’. On 23rd it limped along & on 24th history repeated itself. This time I heard during a conference call between the technician at my place, the back office & the possible culprit doing a new installation in a neighbouring bldg. Again it was the same problem ‘PON Port mismatch’. Really I am quite shocked by this turn of events. I had thought that Reliance Jio would have better trained, disciplined staff. This nonsense of ‘PON Port mismatch’ reminds me of my Sify days. When everything used to get mismatched. At the time of writing this my connection id still down. Totally disgusted. Too add insult to injury I have noticed excess consumption of data. Yesterday my connection live between 1400 -1500 hrs & there is a consumption of 276 odd Mb. Fact is during that time I ONLY TRIED speedtest to get disgusted to see a speed on 12-15Mbps

@socrates Don't take speed test lightly. On my 100mbps connection it can suck up anywhere between 300-400mb for a single DL/UL test.

Fast.com show how much data was consumed during the speed test.

Yep.. i did a speedtest to my neighbourhood server (2 km away) before posting here and the usage was around 280mb. At times, for doing speed tests on Delhi or Chennai servers the usage has been b/w 300-400mb. You get the data consumption just below the Speedtest test app history

You are right it does gobble up a lot just like you said.
