Your line attenuation has increased which means loop length has increased. You have to call up your linesman and ask them to get your line checked.

Connection is good. Recently they have synced me at 69999 kbps downstream and 10240 kbps upstream. No disconnections so far and connection holding good. The server guy confirmed that 69999 kbps is the maximum sync anyone can get and it is the limit of VDSL2 DSLAM which MTNL is using. I downgraded from VDSL 2999 to VDSL 2049 as it gives me more data (500 GB vs 365 GB earlier) and cheaper by Rs. 950 too.
Till July end, I used to get 48-49 Mbps download speed on MTNL server. But from 1st Aug, I am getting 51-53 Mbps. Some minor adjustments at their end.
I actually paid for new FTTH connection through their online portal on 2nd July. I had emailed their AGM/BGM/CGM/DGM whatever they are called, saying that, it is shameful that they cannot even provide FTTH connection to buildings which are within 100 mts radius of their mothership. They appeared to have forwarded my email to concerned dept but things are awefully quiet. I am in contact with the FTTH linesman and he says that he doesn't know when "they" will mobilise their FTTH team to lay the cable.
Probably MTNL will wake up when Jio launches their GigaFiber portal on this coming 15th Aug and declares their plans. Every broadband player or LCO is going to shit in their pants. Unfortunately it would be too late to play reactive to Jio's power game.
