Yep, they have Direct Door Service (DDS) replacement options available for this model too -- http://service.dlink.co.in/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=195&Itemid=636

I have used it for my older DIR-803 device, I raised a warranty request and they dispatched a replacement immediately by courier. The courier person collected the defective model at the time of delivery. Excellent service I would say.

So do you two agree that the D-Link DIR 825 is the best bet among the 3 mentioned routers?
Should i go for it?
I want best range and stable performance. No such issues with the DIR 825,right?

Or else I am thinking of buying the iBall 300M Extreme High Power Wireless-N Router aka iBall Baton since my neighbour has it and his range even reaches my house penetrating a thick ceiling.

with the amount you are spending you have to compromise on some things
if you want the speed TP-Link Archer C1200 takes the cake but it does not have range
and if Iam correct you had used it
D-Link DIR-825 does not have good amount SOC and Ram but gives ok range
and ok speed I can only Say D-Link DIR-825 for you in this price point it is the best you can get as per your needs
if you want solid router you Need to UP your mony buy 1KThanks

I was having frequent disconnections with even the replacement router of the TP-Link Archer C1200. Hence decided to return it. I think there is some defect with the entire batch of routers manufactured in March 2018.
Going for the D-Link DIR-825.

I think the dir 825 have ddwrt support (check it once) which I'll prefer over any other router with stock firmware.
