Spectra is coming to Sector 31 Gurgaon

Wiring being done in my lane today.

with this, my area would have:
bsnl, airtel, excitel, abs, tripleplay and spectra.
hathway is supposed to be there as well but i never managed to get any details.

just around one year ago, i had airtel, bsnl and reliance. with 4mbps as the maximum speeds. with nextra, i might have access to 1gbps.

anyways.

it is probably already discussed. but can any existing customer point out the highlights about nextra? stuff like... availability of static ip? quality of service? block on domains? anything that one should know?

some more cabling being done right now. dude said connections should be available in coming days.
they are going to have sales people at all corners of the sector lol.

it seems that they have started giving connection. a friend of mine living in my sector called me up asking if he should go for it.
i am personally not sure about prepaying for six months. there seems to be no special plans. just some discounts on security/installation if you prepay for six months or a year.

What abt the plans?

they have done the wiring twice. banners have been updated twice. but they are still not able to launch it in my area lol.

so looks like they are finally delivering connections. got like 5 calls while i was sleeping. told the guy that i am not interested in prepaying for multiple months just to get unlimited data. the guy was still like, let me come and meet and explain. nuisance.
