Microsoft Vista means you need new monitors

EVERYTIME Microsoft releases a new version of its operating system, someone points out that it will involve the wholesale scrapping of existing hardware.

Going through the specs of Vista it looks like you will not only probably need a new PC, but it will be time to splash out on a new monitor too.[/b]

protected digital contenti think that is a far fetched statement... 🙂 that kinda content would certainly mean you would need special hardware which are hardcoded with these DRM technologies and newer graphic cards are apparently coming with them...

U r certainly gonna need them if u ur current hardware can't support vista 😛but right now its running fine on my 1.7ghz p4 , 9600 se and my 5 year old 14" monitor in 1024 by 768 resolution with all aero glass enabled

u might need to change them if you want to watch DRM Protected High Definition content which might require specialised hardware with TPM chips.
