I recently got a bsnl sim and they indeed give out pre cut sim. both micro and nano sim is precut. Just to service center and get a duplicate sim of your number. will cost 10rs.

I also got my old sim converted from service center at 10rs. 🙂

Yeah one can cut it if don't want to visit service center but need to do carefully

It is actually easier than micro because you don't have to leave some plastic with that cut shape on the corner. With nano you just leave the chip, not tricky/difficult at all.
