I was offered a pre approved Coral Mastercard by ICICI bank. This offer could be seen in my login & in imobile app. Since it was no entry fee & no annual fee I accepted. Today I get a call from +914038171510 speaking on behalf of the bank telling that entry fee has been waived but there's an annual fee. This inspite of getting an email after I got the virtual card that theres no entry or annual fee. I even have screenshot of the same claims. I have contacted them & awaiting their response. 🤬🤬
 
Now they are trying to tel me that its free only for first year but annual fee is chargeable from 2nd yr onwards. So I sent them the email I got from them plus the screen shots I had taken of what was offered to me in my login. And the Name, emp code & branch code of the person helping me to fill the form, this was entered in the application form. A friend told me if they stick to their story just cancel the credit card with all reasons & get rid of them.

Don't worry their retention team'll offer LTF free anyway whenever you ask for cancellation.
 
Call customer service. Tell them you want to cancel it. That's the easiest way I suppose. You don't need to cut the card or anything.

For anyone trying to connect to ICICI Bank on Twitter, please be careful what handle you use. Theres a new handle which posts the same reply to anyone who contacts them (see below). Not sure why they have not taken action yet. I had Dm'ed them 2 days ago but no reply or any action seen,

Notice the last letter 'o' in this handle which is not there in the original bank handle
 
Just now I checked on Twitter. There are many fake accounts displaying ICICI logo and ICICI Bank Cares.
I reported 4-5 fake accounts for ICICI and 2 for HDFC.
 
iMobile app is force closing itself as soon as I open it. Anyone else facing this?
