Airtel's support is nearly non-existent. 6 days and Airtel hasn't even been able to generate the wallet let alone inform when the fastag will get shipped. Now I am trying to get my order cancelled and get a refund and even that seems like an uphill task. I have to leave tomorrow. Will either get it made on the highway or maybe at a bank branch today if I can find one that can issue one on the spot.
 
The new AmazonPay ICICI Fastag that is linked to the Amazon Pay wallet has this issue where you can buy only one. I wanted to get it for both of my cars, and that's not possible. Would have been a good product if they could offer multiple tags linked to Amazon Pay wallet.

Airtel Fastag customer care is a joke. They messed up one of my orders, or rather its stuck in a limbo, doesn't show up on the app, but each time I call asking for status, they say it can take up to 14 working days. So I have to wait 14 working days for them to realise their mess up and then place a new order apparently.

I finally managed to get them to start the order cancellation process. They are saying it will take 2 working days for the order to be cancelled and for the refund to be issued. Maybe you can try the same?
 
Just uploaded required documents to cancel by Paytm FASTAG but i don't think i'll receive my money for next few weeks because Ticket request and Cancellation is done on 18th and it got accepted today (it was said that it will take 48 hours to get some further updates) so i think Refund will also take time to Receive.


Finally completed HDFC Fastag Order. Let's see how will it be and other managements things. (yet to receive it)

@Navjot Singh Yeah, that's what I have asked for. Asked them to cancel both my orders, got the same response saying it would be done in 2 working days, but I don't trust their words at this point.

The first order actually went through normally but slow. Placed the order on March 15th afternoon, got a validated successfully message same day. Then 5 days later it got issued and dispatched on March 20th. The tag is still in transit.

The other order also, I placed right after the above on March 15th, but apparently it didn't complete successfully even though the payment was deducted. Till now no movement, the order doesn't even show up on the app. The tag is not even issued as I checked the status on NPCI website.

I was frustrated with their standard response despite me telling that there is something wrong. I have no issues in things going wrong, it happens, it's this absolute lack of ownership that pisses me off.

I guess I will go with IDFC for which I have heard good reviews so far, but the only issue with IDFC is that if you order online, you have to pay Rs 300 for their Max service which I don't want. Maybe I will pick it from a toll plaza nearby.
 
FASTag rollout on Paytm wasn’t smooth either. A friend of mine works for Paytm, so he got it sorted out for me (a replacement) otherwise it was stuck. But people would slowly and gradually realize how useful Paytm was.

Makes me a bit sad for some reason.
 
Mine FASTAG also got delivered today. Just Placed the order yesterday through Paytm (HDFC FASTAG) and Received it at Morning. Looks like HDFC Making FASTAG and Doing Instant Deliveries now 😂
 
@MrGordon avoid idfc, cancelled my fastag for sold car on email but ignoring my request for refund. Asking for kyc when it was full kyc.
Can't send attachment due to mail size. Now saying email blocked 😂
Ripoff bank.
