I would not recommend to buy mi router 3 as we have newer version of that router and that is mi router 3G which has gigabit ports, USB 3.0 and 3-4 times more powerful processor and double the ram for just $10 more but the only con is Chinese firmware but the app is in English

because my Asus rt-ac 58u was ded
so the routers from international markets rooled out
and iam just asking will the TP-Link Archer c1200 is will give range through out 1800 SQFT house or not

i called to TP-Link Technical support they sed it covers around 15 to 20 MTRS is it ok for 1800 SQFT House?

Just see if the farthest corner of your house is within 15-20m radius of where you will place your router(considering not too many walls are in between), 15m circle is almost 7k sqft but in a circle, I had a TP-Link we 841n(one of the lowest model) and that covered almost 1500 sqft so the archer one should be enough but again it depends upon design, interference and many more things

Found a comparison of different router which includes TP-Link archer c1200 and Asus rt 58u, there were various other tests as well

there is a D-Link DIR-842 which the D-Link support sed it can cover up to 25 to 30 MTRS will it cover my 1800SQFT?

@kryptocodes, did you try reading the previous comments? and @aniladivishnu.2000 you should not go by what the company says, real world performance can be different, TP-Link on my opinion is generally better than D-Link so go with tp link or why not buy the Asus one again if you were happy with it as the price difference is not huge.
