Bsnl speed slow but good line rate

My line rate has been changed from previous month from 4096 kbps to 10239 kbps but still i am not getting the 10 mbps speed. Complained bsnl multiple times that my line rate has changed but still my speed is at 4mbps and only reply i got was that nib section guys have checked the line rate and it is upgraded. not even experienced speed above 4mbps. What can i do:emoji_disappointed:

Hmmm... yet another case where they have increased the sync rate and forgot to update the user ID for the new plan. Seems like the guys at both BSNL and MTNL are ignorant of this fact until you remind them of what needs to be done.
 
At least they have upgraded your line rate , in my case these fuckers haven't even upgraded the line rate . I have complained multiple times but no solution , in fact they talk rudely , as if these assholes are providing internet to me for FREE .

i am finally getting my connection disconnected this month and going for some other ISP . So sick of their Bullshit .

Did you activate BANDWIDTH CONTROL in your modem Portal previously ?
Please cross check that, if there is no such settings active, problem might be from Bsnl side.
 


What can be the solution now?

You will have to raise a complaint with the guys at BSNL to update your username on their end for the new plan you have asked for. They have changed only the sync/line rate and not changed that. Hence, you are still getting only 4Mbps and not the 10Mbps you have now opted for.
 
Tweeted them today to update my username also. Got the reply from bsnl corporate that action will be taken. Now just waiting patiently for the 10mbps speed
