This is what I get when I try to use SuperSify, as I am right now using a temporary ID, that is the id of a customer care executive. Anyway, take a look at the pic below. What can I do to fix this? Is this referring to the mac address?

supersify i believe lets u change the mac address 😛 but u would need to know the one the id belongs to. suckors.

Crap. So that means, I would have to ask him which he would probably never know. Haha. Or even if he did, he wouldn't tell me.

i think u can call the cus care and tell them that u changed ur lan card and want to reset the mac id.....but then the other person cant use it

I have 2 PCs and I need to access Internet on both the PCs but the sify morons allow you to have only 1 MAC id per connection, so I played a game on them... I called up the customercare and said that I have 2 OS installed on my PC, I can access internet from only 1 OS while trying to login the other OS shows the Problem as "YOUR MACHINE ID IS DIFFERENT......"Now they binded both my MAC ids, I am able to use internet frm both my PCs.....lol you may also try this trick if you have similar problems....lol

I'll give it a shot 😉. BUt why must they use a person's mac id also for logging in. Don't get it.

just to increase customer's head-ache by not letting him login from 2 computers ... its sify after all

in other words, if u have sify in office, u can't use that login from home...cockroaches!!!

But if that's the case, why can I sign into the original client from sify but not on any alternative client?

Yes I am sure. Through the official broadband client, and I called up CC and got my mac address added, so now I can use supersify. 🙂
