I downloaded DUmeter to check it out. Using ver4.01. Motorazor rightly mentions about its advanced features, and the fact that its a 30-day trial only! (Unethical means aside 🙂)Review: The advtgs i find over Netmeter:1. The mini-mode is exactly the setting i wanted, and got after much jiggling in netmeter. Its unobstrusive and shows the vital stats. 2. The processes listening/using open connections can be seen in real-time. 3. It can save and show download history upto hour-wise. The minimum in Netmeter is only day-wise. Disadvtgs:1. It has two distinct processes running. 'DUmetersvc.exe' besides the main program. Netmeter has just 'netmeter.exe' running. 2. The memory usage is quite high compared to Netmeter. Two processes combined were using 4mb+ with Virtual memory use of 10mb+Early days yet as just started using it, but seems the DL being recorded is more or less same for both progs. Can any DUmeter user tell me that is there an option that the 'mini-mode' window shows me the current monthly DL amount, rather than the DL speeds, as i have no use for the default parameters being shown - the DL/UL speeds.Otherwise, this will be the single deciding disadvtg for me.
