why plans are so expensive in Mumbai & Banglore (350@2099). while in delhi and nearby cities its 1299Rs.
like 700 Rs difference for same plan ???

wow great. I am on 899 (60GB Plan). I wonder if it will be changed to 150Gb from next billing cycle or I would have to call them to change plan?

Also, what will happen to the Bonus Data (500Gb), I still have 280GB left. 🙂 I guess they will probably remove it if I ask them for the plan change?

these are pretty neat plans. can anyone call the call center and get details about the lower end plans? i wonder if they still are offering the 599 plan.
 

would try to get details from the local airtel store. brochures would take a while. but should be able to find out if more plans are available besides these listed on the website.
 
They should offer the same plan every where. I am on the most expensive plan here in Kolkata. Luckily I am on retention plan or else I would have been really disappointed.
 
Took airtel long enough to move their butt for NCR. Downgraded or errr.. UPgraded my plan to the Rs. 1299 for 350GB data. So, I pay Rs. 500 (before tax) less for 130GB data more and the same speeds. Also, the 1000GB (whatever of it I haven't used) free data that I had from before remains as well. 🙂

Its high time airtel started to offer more than 100Mbps speed. I would have gladly continued paying Rs. 1799 for lets say 150 or even 200Mbps speeds for the same amount of data that I already had. Well next target now. 😛

All plans are changed pro-rated, they would be done within the billing cycle, you WILL have to call them, airtel is notorious for "grandfathering" customers on older plans that don't have them changed. Also, knowing airtel they will reset your data usage to the new 150GB irrespective if there is only a day left in the billing cycle, they only pro rate the amount, but, give full data for new plan.

Bonus data is getting carried forward, which is a surprise (good way) considering its airtel we are talking about.
 
anyone from ncr calling airtel... do ask if there is a plan below the 899 plan 😛
 
I am on the 1299 plan 125gb plan, I get 150 GB data, and Rs 300 life time discount, currently , i will go for 899 plan have to call them, Rs 300 life time discount i guess will carry over , so i will get 175 data for 699?
 
i was told that lifetime discount is applicable only on the plan it was offered with. but then it's airtel. every customer gets different treatment so hard to say.
