@skfg60 how did u manage to get ur comp running 30 days 10 hours out of the 31 days montharen't there any power cuts in ur areaor don't u need to rebootand u must be having dedicated landline for dialup

I really doubt whether Pu399 is downloading legal stuff! Because the free movies or songs that you get over the internet CANNOT be downloaded and saved on the hard disk. However, we may only view the small sized trailers approved for public viewing. Those are really short on bit rate and small in size (never more than 10 MB). So, 6 GB = 6 x 1024 MB = 6144 MBSo, Pu399 manages to view Roughly 600 Movies a month. Highly commendable. One more thing, Does Pu have a legal copy of Microsoft Office?I highly doubt that!

Now-a-days power cut is rare here, moreover I've big battery backup for my UPS & I am on WIN2K, so reboot occurs after 2 to 3 days after. Yes, I have Internet phone from bsnl and my line quality is superb, I mean I have rarely disconnection. I have a record of continuing a dial up session of 16 hours. It's very rare to continue a session of more than 8 hours in dialup. Autodial is enabled, so if disconnection occurs, it connects immediately. I always surf with background downloading something. So I squize out whatever bandwidth is possible through my pipe.

It may be a stupid way to awe customers, but much better than the way Airtel fools its customer by giving unlimited usage of broadband with new landline connections ............................................... BUT the Catch is only from 10pm to 8am. Day usage cost Rs30 /hr. Nice way to change the definition of Broadband Internet. Isnt so?
