Handset: Redmi 5 Note Pro

Checked with other handsets also but found that Redmi Note 5 Pro has better support for CA.
While Realme 6i and Redmi Note 7 Pro supported only Band 40+40 combo only.
Redmi Note 5 Pro supported Band 40+40, 5+3, 40+41, 40+3

@Tejas01 You are right only Vi has B41 and that app is also giving wrong info AFAIK termination note 5 pro supports B40C carrier aggregation and does not have inter band CA combos
The first photo says that band5 is 20mhz bandwidth which they don’t have this much anywhere the max they have is 15 MHz.

Jio doesn't posses band 41 anywhere in India?
You guys were right about Band 41...
Found out the reason for above.....

Actually Redmi Note 5 pro has old version of Android, it was displaying information of both the sim even when only 1 SIM was selected. While Realme 6i had Android 11 and Redmi Note 7 pro had Android 10 and displayed information about SIM 1's primary band only.

And the 2nd SIM on Redmi Note 5 pro is Vodafone, hence Band 41..... you can tell by MCC MNC code.

Sorry for that...

So the present CA which we see in low end mobile handsets is due to 5G trials..
The DoT has allowed Telecom Service Providers to use their existing spectrum (800 MHz, 900 MHz, 1800 MHz and 2500 MHz) for the 5G trials. The experimental spectrum is given in multiple bands including mid-band (3.2 GHz to 3.67 GHz), millimeter wave band (24.25 GHz to 28.5 GHz) and in Sub-Gigahertz band (700 GHz). The trial period is set for 6 months.

@ijsa It may be B3C CA combo as Redmi note 5 pro supports that. Can you send screenshots of Network Signal Guru so that it is confirmed that either it is intra band CA or inter band CA?
